Are you aged 16-30 and have been bereaved? If so, we would love to invite to one of our meet ups.

What? Our meet ups are not support groups or counselling sessions. They are simply a group of young people, all with something in common, who meet up to talk honestly and openly with each other. Your host is not a trained counsellor, but someone who has been bereaved themselves, and the venue will be a comfy sofa in a private place so you will be safe to speak about your experiences if you need to (though there is no pressure or expectation to!).

Where? At the moment, all of our meet ups happen in Nottingham city centre. However, if you’d be interested in hosting a Let’s Talk About Loss meet up in your local area, please get in touch today.

When? Our next meet up is planned for Tuesday 21st August at 7pm. Meet outside the Brewhouse and Kitchen pub on Trent Bridge and then we’ll go for a wander down the river, and back for a drink at the pub afterwards. Eat before you arrive or grab something at the pub after we’ve walked! Email if you want more information.

Why? If you’re young and have been bereaved, come along to meet others in a similar situation to you. Make new friends, realise you are not alone and speak openly to people who understand. If you would like to chat to someone before attending, or ask any questions, do get in touch! We would love to hear from you.

Who? Please note this event is only for people aged 16-30 who have been bereaved. If you fall outside the age bracket, please get in touch and we will happily advise on other groups that are available for you to access. We hope you understand!
